Unemployment Rate in the United States decreased to 7 per cent, reports the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The improved job market will very likely hold up for the class of 2014 business school graduates as well, as more than three-quarters of employers that plan to hire business school graduates expect to maintain or increase their hiring from this year.
According to the poll
Between 45 per cent and 58 per cent of employers also plan to increase annual base salaries at or above the rate of inflation. These are the results of a poll amongst employers conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, a non-profit education organisation of leading graduate business schools that administers the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
